Decorating the house

I bought these wall-paper stickers called "Wallies" to decorate the new house. For the living room, I bought some ivy leaves. I thought it would be a good idea to "frame" the hallway entrance to the boys' rooms and the bathroom. I added the vines and curly thingies (what are those called?).

So what do you think? I only did about half way up one wall. It will take a while to finish but it will look so nice when I am done.

I also purchased some grape bunches and grape leaves "wallies" for the kitchen. We framed the entrance to the kitchen with those. Also put some above the kitchen sink.

I bought some really cute fabric for making valances for the kitchen. It has grape bunches and leaves on it. I think there are butterflies and other fruits on it as well but predominately grapes.

I also have some fabric for the valances in the bathroom. We are decorating our bathroom with whales, dolphins and blue sea creatures! The fabric is blue & white and has prints of Hawaii on it.

We have worked hard to get a house of our own and we are taking our time in decorating in a style we enjoy. I think Jeff wants to make sure it isn't cluttered and is kept clean. I like it to be visually pleasing as well. So with that balance I think we will have a nice house for people to visit.
